Arts & Democracy links art and culture, participatory democracy, and social justice. The work is based on the creative power of are and culture as a catalyst for action - especially among people who have been traditionally disenfranchised. We support community-based cultural organizing and cross-sector collaborations; raise the viability of transformative cultural work; cross-pollinate artists, educators, organizers, and policymakers; and create spaces for capacity building and reflection.
