The mission of the juneau housing first collaborative is to end homelessness and to stabilize lives and community through collaborative partnership using housing first philosophy, specifically to provide affordable, permanent, supportive housing.

THE PROJECT WILL PROVIDE SAFE AND SECURE HOUSING TO RESIDENTS IN ORDER TO FACILITATE DIGNIFIED LIVES, A HEALTHY COMMUNITY, AND WILL PROVIDE SIGNIFICANT COST SAVINGS TO THE COMMUNITY. THE JUNEAU HOUSING FIRST COLLABORATIVE IS CURRENTLY CONSTRUCTING THE BUILDING IN WHICH THIS PROGRAM WILL BE BASED OUT OF. THERE WAS A SMALL AMOUNT OF EXPENSES IN 2016, MOSTLY ONLY CONSTRUCTION IN PROGRESS. CONSTRUCTION WILL WRAP UP IN 2017 AND OPERATING ACTIVITIES WILL BEGIN THEN.
