| HBB Learning Center 1 Project is to educate and train fundamental education health and hygiene of 54 children from slums of the capital city Dhaka at Nama Slum Chad Uddan Mohammadpur Dhaka Bangladesh. This HBB project enrolled 54 elementary level children. Therefore 54 families are being helped at this starting phase of the project. The goal is to integrate them into the broader population fostering independence and enabling them to become providers for their families. By offering education and vocational training we aim to eradicate ignorance and poverty paving the way for a brighter future of these children who are without a future otherwise. | School Kids Mental Health program:Through an innovative approach the project equipped school teachers with the tools to recognize and support mental health needs via Training of Trainers ToT sessions was implemented by a nonprofits - SoMaSHTe Samprity Aid Foundation in Bangladesh. This initiative fostered a nurturing environment for students empowering teachers to address early signs of mental distress. The project reached to 1500 children and 300 parents through this intervention. Scientific seminars were conducted on the occasion of World Mental Health Day 2024 with medical professionals and mental health experts establishing a strong foundation of knowledge and promoting collaboration on childrens mental health. Counseling sessions offered direct support to children providing a safe space to express emotions and concerns. Led by a person with disabilities ESDO designed this project to create a pathway for sustainable livelihoods especially for those in vulnerable groups including women and youth with disabilities. In 2024 15 youth participants completed the six-month training program equipped with market-relevant skills and hands-on experience. The programs reach is further amplified by a fully equipped training center featuring essential tools like computers printers sewing machines and Wi-Fi because of this philanthropic partnership. For many participants the training was life-changing. Since 2022 Samprity Aid Foundation has been implementing "Secondary Education for the Speech and Hearing-Impaired Children" project supported by has significantly impacted the educational journey of 45 students. Tailored to meet the unique needs of these children the program provides comprehensive support including specialized instruction in sign language essential school supplies uniforms and books. Students participate in a variety of extracurricular activities enhancing their social and personal skills. Quarterly parent-teacher meetings foster a collaborative approach allowing for shared evaluation and reinforcement of student progress.; 2. High school kids mental health improvements and Stigma Removal project implemented by another organization in Bangladesh SoMaSHTe.The projects impact goes beyond immediate outcomes; by fostering mental health awareness among teachers and parents it builds a sustainable support network. This HBB project enrolled 54 elementary level children. Therefore 54 families are being helped at this starting phase of the project. The goal is to integrate them into the broader population fostering independence and enabling them to become providers for their families. By offering education and vocational training we aim to eradicate ignorance and poverty paving the way for a brighter future of these children who are without a future otherwise. At HBB our primary objective is to uplift the underprivileged and underserved ensuring that no one is denied a fulfilling healthy and prosperous life due to preventable obstacles like ignorance poverty or disease. This project is eliminating ignorance through education and eliminating poverty by making them employable., $16500| Grantee - Samprity Aid Foundation SAF: SAF grant for implementing 2 projects - 1. Empowering the dreams of youth with disabilities the skill development project by nonprofit org - ESDO led by a person with disabilities. ESDO designed this project to create a pathway for sustainable livelihoods especially for those in vulnerable groups including women and youth with disabilities. In 2024 15 youth participants completed the six-month training program equipped with market-relevant skills and hands-on experience. The programs reach is further amplified by a fully equipped training center featuring essential tools like computers printers sewing machines and Wi-Fi through this partnership. For many participants the training was life-changing. Graduates are now able to use their new skills in computer literacy sewing and other vocations to find employment or start small businesses enhancing their financial independence. Beyond income this project has fostered confidence and inclusion especially for participants with disabilities who are often marginalized in traditional training programs. As the project continues with new batches it promises to be a stepping stone for youth driving not just individual growth but community-wide empowerment by creating sustainable skilled livelihood opportunities in vulnerable communities. 2. High School kids Mental health support and removing social Stigm, $13500| Samprity Aid Foundation SAF: This funding serves full funding $7k for SAF project for 2023 and a partial funding $5k of a second project on High School kids Mental Health project. 1. SAF implemented first project is Speech and Hearing impaired kids High School project - continued project 2nd year with SAF. Since 2022 Samprity Aid Foundation has been implementing "Secondary Education for the Speech and Hearing-Impaired Children" project supported by has significantly impacted the educational journey of 45 students. Tailored to meet the unique needs of these children the program provides comprehensive support including specialized instruction in sign language essential school supplies uniforms and books. Students participate in a variety of extracurricular activities enhancing their social and personal skills. Quarterly parent-teacher meetings foster a collaborative approach allowing for shared evaluation and reinforcement of student progress.; 2. High school kids mental health improvements and Stigma Removal project implemented by another organization in Bangladesh SoMaSHTe.The projects impact goes beyond immediate outcomes; by fostering mental health awareness among teachers and parents it builds a sustainable support network. As the teachers continue to apply their training the long-term effect is a generation more resilient and better equipped to manage mental health challenges.
