“We offer classes in pottery, photography, oil painting, glass fusing, and jewelry making. Our staff of volunteers plans a weekly childrens' program while making a new art project. We service a wide variety of ages, abilities, and physical and mental challenges. The councils purpose is to enrich our community through exposure to the arts and to give local artists a venue to show and sell their work.”

“Mural project-several of the council's artists worked with the city of elyria to create plans for several murals to coordinate with our bicentennial and the planned revitalization of the downtown. Our artist designed and painted with 7 helpers two full building murals totaling 9,100 square fee of painted surface and two to three stories tall. These two murals commemorate some notable people and places from elyria's history. Plans are in place for moure murals downtown.”
