IRS990/Desc0Pediatric Therapy Services: Launch Therapy Center provides comprehensive speech, occupational, and physical therapy services to children with developmental disabilities, delays, neurological conditions, orthopedic conditions, autism spectrum disorder, and other special healthcare needs. During 2025, Launch provided nearly 24,000 therapy visits to more than 1,100 children and adolescents throughout Louisianas Capital Region. More than 70% of children served relied on Medicaid coverage for access to medically necessary therapy services. Therapy services are individualized to improve communication, mobility, feeding skills, sensory regulation, independence, social participation, and overall developmental outcomes in home, school, and community settings. Launch continued expanding access to pediatric therapy services in a region experiencing significant provider shortages and extended wait times for children requiring developmental intervention services.

During 2025, Launch continued supporting hundreds of families through caregiver guidance, developmental resource navigation, school collaboration, and referrals to community-based services. The organization also provided social opportunities, inclusion activities, and family-centered support programs that help address social determinants of health impacting developmental progress and long-term outcomes. Launch delivered more than $578,000 in unreimbursed therapy services and support during 2025 to ensure children could continue receiving care regardless of financial limitations or insurance barriers.

During 2025, the organization continued outreach and partnership efforts focused on improving early intervention access, caregiver support, and developmental resources throughout underserved communities. Demand for pediatric therapy services in the region continued to exceed available capacity, with more than 400 children remaining on the organizations waitlist during the year. In response to growing community need, Launch continued planning and fundraising efforts for a new pediatric therapy facility designed to significantly expand service capacity, reduce wait times, and improve access to pediatric therapy services across the region.
