Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The corporation is organized and shall be operated exclusively for charitable purposes (which shall be deemed to include religious, charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes, or the prevention of cruelty to children or animals, within the meaning of thoses terms used in section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986, as amended, or the corresponding provisions of any subsequesnt federal tax law and under the laws of the state of texas, including but not limited to providing support and grants to harte research institute foundation at texas a&m university - corpus christi for any such charitable purpose; and, subject to such limitations and conditions as are or may be prescribed by law, to exercise such other powers which now or hereafter may be conferred by law upon a corporation organized for the purposes hereinabove set forth, or necessary or incindental to the powers so conferred, or conductive to the attainment of the above-stated purposes of the corporation.
