Beautiful self inc. Is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to making a difference in the lives of women afflicted with post breast cancer trauma. The grueling and long-term effects of breast cancer treatment wreak havoc on the feminine psyche. The social, physical, psychology and sexual ramifications combined with years of post medicines often result with a woman who no longer accepts herself as beautiful or whole. The devastating changes to her body, spirit and mind often make it difficult to return and thrive to the life she once knew. The sad outcome, a once productive woman that now hides from the world. Women post breast cancer experience chronic pain, post amputation trauma, scarring, weight changes, lymphedema, rapid aging, self loathing and more. Beyond survival feeling beautiful and able to love yourself is considered by most a luxury.
