The conflict of interest policy is included in the neighborhood housing services organizational code of conduct and compliance is reviewed annually and with the addition of new board members. New board members and all employees are required to complete and sign a "conflict of interest clearance & disclosure" form as a condition of employment/board membership.

The december 31, 2023 consolidated financial statements were restated for a correction related to repayments on mortgages made during the period of october 2020 through february 2021 not being properly applied to the outstanding mortgage balances in the organizations' loan serving software, which resulted in the mortgages and loans receivable balances on the consolidated statements of financial position to be overstated. The prior period adjustment resulted in a change to net assets of $85,107.

SEE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON SCHEDULE O.IN ADDITION TO PROMOTING FIRST-TIME HOME OWNERSHIP, THE ORGANIZATION PROMOTES AND ASSISTS EXISITING HOMEOWNERS IN THE NEIGHBORWORKS ORGANIZATION SERVICE AREAS TO REMAIN IN RESIDENCE THROUGH AFFORDABLE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR NECESSARY HOME REPAIR AND/OR RENOVATIONS. AFFORDABLE HOME REPAIR FINANCING FOR HOMEOWNERS OF MODEST MEANS AND/OR WITH LITTLE EQUITY IN THEIR HOMES IS A CRITICAL UNMET NEED.
