ISCHOOLS HOSTS AN INTERNATIONAL ICONFERENCE ANNUALLY THAT COVERS VARIOUS TOPICS IMPORTANT TO THE INFORMATION COMMUNITY AND THE ISCHOOLS MEMBERS. ICONFERENCE ATTENDEES DO NOT NEED TO BE MEMBERS OF ISCHOOLS; INSTEAD MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND. THE PROGRAM CONTAINS VARIOUS WORKSHOPS, SPEAKERS, AND MEETINGS RELATED TO TOPICS INCLUDING INFORMATION BEHAVIOR, SOCIAL, CULTURAL, HEALTH AND COMMUNITY INFORMATICS, HUMAN-COMPUTER INTERACTION, EDUCATION IN LIBRARY AND INFORMATION SCIENCE, DIGITAL CURATION AND PRESERVATION, AND DIGITAL YOUTH. THE MARCH 2020 ICONFERENCE WAS HELD VIRTUALLY, DUE TO THE IMPACT OF COVID-19. IT HAD 390 PARTICIPANTS, 27 FULL RESEARCH PAPERS (ACCEPTANCE RATE 30%), 48 SHORT RESEARCH PAPERS, 76 POSTERS, 11 WORKSHOPS (8 CANCELLED DUE TO FORMAT CHANGE), 12 SESSIONS OF INTERACTION AND ENGAGEMENT, 35 DOCTORAL COLLOQUIUM PARTICIPANTS ACCEPTED, 11 EARLY CAREER COLLOQUIUM PARTICIPANTS ACCEPTED, AND 12 UNDERGRADUATE SYMPOSIUM PARTICIPANTS ACCEPTED. THE ISCHOOLS ALSO ASSISTED WITH THE ISIC CONFERENCE, WHICH WAS HELD VIRTUALLY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF PRETORIA IN SOUTH AFRICA. EACH REGION HAS HELD MEETINGS ONLINE, ROUGHLY ONCE A MONTH, DEPENDING ON THE TIME OF YEAR. THE EUROPEAN REGION ALSO HELD AN ONLINE DOCTORAL COLLOQUIUM, WITH GUESTS FROM CHINA.
