Pt VI, Line 15A

Any annual salary of a sharebaby employee shall be researched extensively. The executive director shall gather comparability data, review experience of potential employee as well as education or degrees earned. Additionally, review any referral(s), taking into consideration past employment. Once a compensation range is determined, by the executive director, it shall be communicated to the board along with all comparability data. The board shall review all data, as well as resume, referrals and annual budget and determine final salary by a board vote. Any employee of sharebaby shall have an annual review conducted by the board or their direct manager, in which the manager will submit the finalized review to the board. If an employee is eligible for a salary increase or bonus, due to their direct score on their review and overall performance, the board will determine the amount of increase and/or bonus by gathering comparability data (with the help of the executive director, if applicable) and review annual budget. Board shall vote on final amount of salary increase and/or bonus and the executive director or president of the board shall inform employee, in person. Governance committee shall distribute executive director's board review (the review) to all sitting board of directors, annually. Each board member shall fill out the review, without boas. This review is not just to focus on weakness or negative aspects. Its purpose is to help evaluate the ed's performance, constructively. Expect confidentiality. Opinions and comments expressed during the process shall not be attributed to individual board members but shall be shared in the aggregate report. Confidentiality is the only way to ensure that everyone shares honest opinions without a filter to fear of being criticized. Each board member must return the review to the governance chair in a timely manner. The executive director must score at least a 69* (or an average of 3 on each review question) on each board members review to be eligible for a bonus or salary increase.
