Coverage: pacific and caribbean coasts of guatemala, with presence in 9 local communities and regional actions in the mesoamerican reef system and eastern pacific. Strategic plan 2025-2030: focused on three pillars: applied research for conservation. Environmental education and community development. Identification of nursery areas in las lisas and sipacate. Participatory workshops with over 165 fishers trained in sustainable fishing practices. Community development formation and empowerment of ampermalis, a women-led association in las lisas. Establishment of the flor de mangle community apiary (30 beehives), led mainly by women. Strengthening of the ki'il sarstoon apiary in the caribbean, including development of a local beekeeping calendar. Sustainable tourism: first migratory bird festival in las lisas; 21 locals trained in ecotourism. Environmental education hammerhead shark route: over 400 students engaged.
