Nyp community programs, inc.(nypcp) was formed as a wholly owned subsidiary of the new york and presbyterian hospital to serve as the direct parent and sole member of hudson valley hospital center dba newyork-presbyterian hudson valley hospital, newyork-presbyterian/lawrence hospital, newyork-presbyterian/queens and newyork-presbyterian/brooklyn methodist, and, in such capacity, to oversee the operations of said organizations on an ongoing basis, including but not limited to coordinating the mission, governance, policymaking and strategic planning functions, and providing other forms of support for the benefit of those hospitals.
