“The d39c collaborative is organized exclusively to harness the energy of parents, teachers, students and the community to nurture the design39campus culture and to help fund the resources the school needs to expand and enhance the educational experience of every design39campus student.”

“Classroom supplies and enhancements: provided students with materials needed to supplement their learning experience. Funding has allowed students the opportunity to participate in deep dives and exploration classes, minds in motion, and project lead the way curriculums. Deep dives and exploration classes allow students choice about learning more about topics of interest such as ceramics, music, theater, video production, sewing, architecture, insects, robotics, 3-d animation, etc. Project lead the way provides students a stem (science, technology, engineering and math) based program through activities, projects and problem solving curriculum. The minds in motion program takes physical education participation to a whole new experience.”

“Teacher aides and professional development: teacher aides support the teaching staff and students at the school by meeting with students that need extra help in reading. There are also teacher aides that teach pe to all of our students which allows our teachers to lesson plan and respond and meet with parents. Professional development pays for our teachers to attend conferences or visit other schools where they learn best practices which they bring back to our school.”

“Grants: the purpose of the grants is to enhance the experience of the students and offer opportunities to impact their learning. All participants in the school's student learning are eligible to participate in the program. This includes, but not limited to, teachers, students, and parents. Applicants must demonstrate how their project will impact student learning. Grantees are required to provide proof of learning and reflection once their project is complete.”
