To monitor compliance with the conflict of interest policy, periodic reviews shall be conducted. The periodic reviews shall, at a minimum, include the following subjects:Whether compensation arrangements and benefits are reasonable, based on competent survey information, and the result of arm's length bargaining. Whether partnerships, joint ventures, and arrangements with management organizations conform to the orgnaization's written policies, are properly recorded, reflect reasonable investment or payments for goods and services, further charitable purposes and do not result in inurement, impermissible private benefit or in an excess benefit transaction.

The annula process for determining a compensation package is as follows:The nonprofit, through a committee consisting of either the full board or an executive committee approved by the board, shall annually evaluate any highly paid employees or contractors on performance. The appropriate committee will obtain research and information to make a recommendation to the full board for the compensation of such employees or consultants based on a review of comparability data. To approve the compensation for highly compensated employees and consultants, the board must document how it reached its decisions, including the information on which it based such decisions.
