“The launchcode foundation constitutes a qualified not-for-profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and is, therefore, exempt from federal income taxes. In accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the united states of america, launchcode uses a loss contingency approach for evaluating uncertain tax positions. Management continually evaluates expiring statute of limitations, audits, proposed settlements, changes in tax law, and new authoritative rulings. Launchcode has evaluated its tax positions, expiring statutes of limitations, audits, proposed settlements, changes in tax law, and new authoritative rulings and believes that no provision for income taxes is necessary, at this time, to cover any uncertain tax positions.”
