“The bylaws were amended effective january 1, 2021. Below is a summary of the amendments: 1. "basic" membership level remaned "adopter" 2. Adopter members are eligible to certify products. - an adopter member that certifies two or more products within a twelve (12) month period will be eligible for an automatic upgrade to the gold membership level for the subsequent twelve (12) month period, provided however, adopter members with greater than one hundred (100) employees and adopter members who were previously gold members within the past twelve (12) months, are not eligible for an automatic upgrade. When an automatic upgrade has been issued, the members renewal date will be the date upon which the member's gold membership begins. 3. The following new benefits were added to all membership classes: - an ocf "letter of support" prior to certification or following certification of a member's product and/or service, upon request - social media promotion in connection with member's certified products and/or services”

Diamond member benefits (annual dues: $150,000 usd) requires 3/4 affirmative vote of current directors appointed by diamond members. Benefits include: - board of director representative appointment eligibility - eligible to have a representative appointed or elected as an officer of the organization - eligible to participate and chair in the working groups and task groups - eligible to seek ocf and upnp certification of products and/or services - eligible to use the organization's trademarks in connection with member's certified products and/or services platinum member benefits (annual dues: $10,000 - 60,000 usd, tiered based on the number of employees). Benefits include: - eligible to have a representative elected to the board of directors - eligible to have a representative appointed or elected as an officer of the organization - eligible to participate and chair in the work groups and task groups - eligible to seek ocf and upnp certification of products and/or services - eligible to use the organization's trademarks in connection with member's certified products and/or services gold member benefits (annual dues: $2,000 - $10,000 usd). Benefits include: - eligible to participate in a non-voting capacity in the work group and task groups - eligible to seek ocf and upnp certification of products and/or services - eligible to use the organization's trademarks in connection with member's certified products and/or services non-profit, educational gold member benefits (one time fee: $1,000 usd).
