Mission and Program Overview

Mission

1)the organization will exchange information and ideas with its membership on contemporary issues facing physician office laboratories, such as financing and coverage matters impacting patient quality of care. 2)the organization will support physicians and their patients with quality diagnoses, treatment and proscription drug management for severe pain management and the prevention of drug diversion. 3)the organization will advocate and protect physicians' rights to choose and be to equitably reimbursed for in office laboratory testing (particularly related to drug screenings and confirmation testing). 4)the organization will develop relationships with pain-management providers to actively promote continuous quality improvement and assessment for physicians and patients. 5)the organization will provide forums for payers and providers to collaborate on technology assessment as well as cost containment programs. 6)the organization will assist member physician office laboratories in meeti
