Proyecto Mariposas

Vision: We cultivate culturally enriched spaces of belonging where Latina voices thrive. Mission: We inspire Latina girls and women to nurture their spirit, raise their voice and invest in their growth by providing opportunities for mentorship, advocacy and belonging that vitalizes themselves, their relationships and their communities. We provide in-school free programming, Summer Camp and community events to bring girls and those who support them together. We currently serve 16 schools and over 300 girls We also host a summer camp for 60 girls for two weeks Our main outreach includes healthy period packing to end period poverty.

Values: Belonging ~ Legacy ~ Proactive Change ~ Empathy ~ Wellness ~ Bravery Our purpose is to provide bilingual programming to girls in schools (elementary to high school), other programming including summer camps and relationship building workshops for mother - daughter. We currently serve over 200 girls in school 10 schools and 150 in a variety of local communities.
