Form 990, Part VI, Line 4: Description of Significant Changes to Organizational Documents

Section A. Governing Body and Management1a. From CRIC By-LawsExecutive Committee. An Executive Committee composed of the four officers, or other board members as appointed by the full board, and attended by CRICs Executive Director as a non-voting ex-officio member, shall be able to act with the power of the full board on resolutions (decisions) normally requiring a majority vote of the board, as needed to address urgent issues not able to wait for the next board meeting. All decisions by the Executive Committee will be reported to the full board at the next regular meeting, and open to revision at that time. Quorum for the Executive Committee will constitute all voting Executive Committee members.Section B. Policies11a. The Treasurer and Director of Finance and Operations work with a CPA to prepare the 990. The return is emailed to the Board for questions and comments. Once all concerns are discussed and resolved return is submitted. 15a. Yes. Hiring process for our Executive Director involved identifying compensation packages for comparable non-profits in the area, research on various online wage libraries, market analysis conducted by a Hiring Committee consisting of various members of our Board. Section C. Disclosure19. All governing documents available upon request. In addition, some are on available on Utah.gov and Guidestar/Candid (990).

OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 4: Other Program Services The CRIC Community Garden provides a plot where more than 30 refugee and immigrant families plant, grow and harvest their own vegetables on about 40 plots with the option to sell the produce at the Logan Gardeners Market. The space also serves as a meeting place for entire families to gather and socialize. Also, excess fresh produce was contributed from the garden to the Cache Community Food Pantry.Drivers License Study Group: attended by 26 clients who learned driving concepts and studied for the Utah drivers license exam.Citizenship Clinic attended by 64 clients who prepared and studied for English and civics tests for naturalization interviews. 30 clients received COVID-19 vaccines at an event jointly hosted by CRIC and the local health department.

Also, excess fresh produce was contributed from the garden to the Cache Community Food Pantry.Drivers License Study Group: attended by 26 clients who learned driving concepts and studied for the Utah drivers license exam.Citizenship Clinic attended by 64 clients who prepared and studied for English and civics tests for naturalization interviews. 30 clients received COVID-19 vaccines at an event jointly hosted by CRIC and the local health department.

An Executive Committee composed of the four officers, or other board members as appointed by the full board, and attended by CRICs Executive Director as a non-voting ex-officio member, shall be able to act with the power of the full board on resolutions (decisions) normally requiring a majority vote of the board, as needed to address urgent issues not able to wait for the next board meeting. All decisions by the Executive Committee will be reported to the full board at the next regular meeting, and open to revision at that time. Quorum for the Executive Committee will constitute all voting Executive Committee members.Section B. Policies11a. The Treasurer and Director of Finance and Operations work with a CPA to prepare the 990. The return is emailed to the Board for questions and comments. Once all concerns are discussed and resolved return is submitted. 15a. Yes. Hiring process for our Executive Director involved identifying compensation packages for comparable non-profits in the area, research on various online wage libraries, market analysis conducted by a Hiring Committee consisting of various members of our Board.
