IRS990/Desc0Mentoring partnerships is the third largest program service provided by Fahrenheit. Partnerships consist of four categories:Mentoring Catalysts(who adhere to the bibical mentoring principles of Fahrenheit and are part of a mentoring network), Financial, Church and Prayer. Fahrenheit fosters these partnerships in the following ways 1 Mentoring Catalysts and Churches are communicated with regularly, providing tools to encourage and strengthen the mentoring work. Partnerships are also used to network for the purposes of expanding mentoring to other parts of the community. 2 Financial partners total 137 individuals. Individuals are being kept in touch through weekly newsletters. 3 Prayer Partners total 518 individuals who actively pray for the work of Fahrenheit and its employees, Independent Contractors and volunteers. This year, we had 37 speaking engagements reaching 3,356 people,which helped inform groups about mentoring and ask for potential partners.

IRS990/ProgSrvcAccomActy2Grp/Desc0Personal mentoring is our largest program. On average, 564 mentoring meetings per year take place by Fahrenheit employees and volunteers. Each mentored person is offered anywhere from 1-3 hours of time each mentoring meeting. There is no charge for mentoring meetings. Topics range from spiritual growth, business networking, marriage and family issues and personal growth issues. Meetings take place usually in cafes, personal homes or conducted via Skype as part of a virtual mentoring program. Current Virtual Mentoring reaches the USA, Portugal, the Netherlands, England, Austria, Sri Lanka, Scotland and Germany.
IRS990/ProgSrvcAccomActy3Grp/Desc0Mentoring training is our organizations second largest program service. On average, 15 Mentors received ongoing training during the year by Fahrenheit employees or Independent Contractors. Recipients were presented tools to better mentor others. These 15 mentors are currently training other mentors. This past year, we had 3 training workshops reaching approximately 50 people. Additionally, our Facebook page reached 764 people monthly with training tools for mentors. Our blog received 4,092 hits on mentoring topics. Weve also sent 72 newsletters per week(3,600 per year)to financial donors and those interested in mentoring on the topic of mentoring.
IRS990/ProgSrvcAccomActyOtherGrp/Desc0Financial mentoring was needed due to COVID-19. Our financial team helped many businesses maintain their operations by helping them secure $1,562,881 in funding. We partnered with a local community college and were on their Pandemic Team. We helped the businesses receive EIDL(Economic Injury Disaster) advances and loans, local and state government grants and SBA(Small Business Administration) loans. In addtion, PPP(Paycheck Protection Program) loans were given to businesses that qualified. Because of these funds, the companies did not have to lay off employees and were able to keep their doors open. We will be helping these same companies complete applications to get their PPP loans forgiven in 2021. Individuals and families also needed assistance with getting their stimulus checks so that they could pay rent and other bills.
