“Except as otherwise provided by the board of governors, the executive committee shall have all of the authority of the board of governors except the authority prohibited in this section of this article v. The executive committee shall report all of its official actions to the board of governors at the first meeting of the board of governors following a meeting of the executive committee at which such action was taken.”

Salary changes are communicated to the director of finance via email or compensation adjustment form. During 2024, the compensation committee completed a study of executive compensation and drafted and executed a new employment contract for the executive director.”

“Joslyn art museum does not currently make its governing documents, conflict of interest policy, or financial statements available to the public.”

“On may 3rd, 2022 the museum closed to the public due to construction. However, off-site programming was conducted and continued throughout the closure. Works from the collections were seen on national exhibition tours and loans during the museum closure. The museum reopened to the public in the fall of 2024 after a two year closure.”

“The finance & facilities committee is responsible for the review of the organization's consolidated financial statements and audit. They are also responsible for the selection of the organization's independent accounting firm. There were no changes in the oversight process or selection process from the prior year.”
