Form 990-EZ Extension Header

The organization was originally classifed as a private foundation in error effective June 18, 2014. To correct this error, on April 24, 2015, the organization requested retroactive classification as a public charity. On June 24, 2015, the IRS granted the organization's request and updated its records accordingly. On May 5, 2015, the organization filed Form 8868 to request an extension of time to file its exempt organization return. Since the IRS had not yet granted the organization's retroactive status as a public charity on that date, Form 8868 was filed for Form 990-PF. Since the Form 990-PF is no longer applicable but Form 990-EZ is, the organization requests that its extension request of May 5, 2015 be recognized for Form 990-EZ instead.
