The marching yellowjackets has 50 members and competed in class aa. The taylor band has hosted a mid states band association for the last four years.”
“Three rivers childrens theatre is our largest department with over 160 students participating in the november 2019 production of elf, the musical. Taylor high school drama participates in cappies of greater cincinnati: a national student critique program that supports local high school theater. The end of the year is celebrated with an awards ceremony with 26 local high schools participating. In 2019-20, taylor received fifteen nominations, and one category win for best actor in a musical.”
“The 6-12 choir program has over 400 students singing in at least one choir. The high school program alone consists of approximately 25% of the high school population. Over 25 students (in grades 5-12) are taking private vocal lessons. Select 7th and 8th graders performed in the local, district 14 junior high honor choir in february. Taylor's senior choir performed at mount saint joseph in december.”
“Art classes are offered k-12th grade. The visual arts department also offers after school clubs and enrichment classes. There are several different art shows throughout the year at each different grade level. Visual art activities include those connected to conducting art shows and educational/enrichment camps, purchasing art supplies, paying art conference dues, and contest entry fees and camp scholarships. At taylor, about 40% of high school students are involved in the visual arts. The high school visual arts program offers college prep as well as honors level courses; there are 3 different ap studio art classes offered: drawing, design, and 3d. Ap visual arts have a 90-95% pass rate for the college level classes.”

THE END OF THE YEAR IS CELEBRATED WITH AN AWARDS CEREMONY WITH 26 LOCAL HIGH SCHOOLS PARTICIPATING. IN 2019-20, TAYLOR RECEIVED FIFTEEN NOMINATIONS, AND ONE CATEGORY WIN FOR BEST ACTOR IN A MUSICAL. |

AP VISUAL ARTS HAVE A 90-95% PASS RATE FOR THE COLLEGE LEVEL CLASSES. |
