Mission

This is a educational student organization in which members pay money that strives to benefit the members as well as the community.

Program Services

We hosted a battle balls tournament in which we were able to raise enough money to cover $2,000 of the costs and donate over $1,000 to RAINN. Also, this was the first time we held this event and most of the expense was purchasing the battle balls which we will be able to use to host the event for only about $500, meaning we should be able to donate all proceeds to the charity in the future.$0$5,700
We hosted a clothes drive to benefit those in need in the Chapel Hill area. The local homeless shelter was in desperate need of warm clothing for the Winter. Expenses consisted of supplies for advertising for the drive and actually collecting the clothes, but in addition, we found a great opportunity to buy many outdated sweaters from a local store for $2 per sweater to benefit the shelter. We were able to donate over 700 warm weather articles of clothing.$0$500
We hosted many other small service and philanthropy events that mostly were free to host and none more than $100. These events included Puppies in the Pit (this event spreads awareness about the local animal shelter and gives students a chance to have some fun and play with some puppies and dogs during their school day), a beach cleanup, a Chapel Hill cleanup, and more. In addition, we organized participation in other philanthropic and service-based events hosted by other organizations$0$500
