Mission

Civic education thru mult means

Georgia shift gives marginalized young people a seat at the table of democracy through electoral action, hands-on advocacy and education, and civic media programs. We envision a georgia where marginalized young people of color are the fundamental driver of political impact and public policy at every level of government in an unbridled democracy. Our office is based in augusta, georgia organizing surrounding rural areas in-person and statewide through digital organizing. We are the only organization truly based in this region that serves as a political home to young people of color year-round. All our permanent staff are young people of color, rooted in the broader augusta area.
