Mission

SEE STATEMENT

To Foster and Inspire Servant Leadership in Participants and Staff. We use adventure as a catalyst for individuals to become more effective stewards of their gifts passions and resources. In 2017 were were able to serve 160 participants and staff over the course of 120 days worth of training in the field (backcountry settings)- to include backpacking, rock climbing, and service oriented programs.

Custom built leadership training programs. We were able to serve 160 people through our trainings this year over the course of 120 days. These leadership training programs were conducted in wilderness settings during rock climbing and backpacking programs. They require quite a lot of specialized equipment and highly qualified Instructors to facilitate. Leadership training through staffing opportunities. We spend a considerable amount of time working with our field staff before and after programs to cultivate their leadership skills. The result is that 8 young adults left our programs have been deeply immersed into leadership mentoring that will last them a lifetime and positively impact every community they serve in hereafter.$0$23,500
Outreach to the local community, sometime through service, sometimes through relationships. The goal of this work is to spend time cultivating healthy local community here in Watauga and surrounding counties. Our staff listed above also engage in this work.
