Cincinnati pride, inc. Was organized to celebrate and educate the public about the rich historical and cultural legacy of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender ("lgbtq+") people, and to instill pride in the members of the lgbt community in their identity. Its mission is to build community, to expand understanding, and to eliminate prejudice, discrimination, and misunderstanding to which lgbtq+ people have been historically subjected. To achieve this mission cincinnati pride, inc. Holds annual public events. These events are educational, informational, cultural, and also provide entertainment. They are intended to bring people together to foster a true sense of unity.
