Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The foundations purpose is to enrich the aging process by providing services on vashon island in support of the mission of vashon island community care ("vcc"), a washington nonprofit corporation and charitable organization organized under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. The foundations purposes include, but are not limited to: develop a self-sustaining source of broad-based community funding for vashon island community care; assure transparency and accountability in raising and expending funds; develop a mutually supportive relationship between the corporation and vashon island community care; engage in any lawful activities in furtherance of the purposes set forth above.
