Mission and Program Overview

Mission

Mlf america helps the schools in the following areas:a)recruiting qualified, experienced teachers; b) organizing training sessions and workshops for teachers; c) researching and promoting best practices in the field of international, multilingual,and multicultural education; d) improving teaching methods in service of international schools with strong language programs; e) working with national and regional american independent schools accrediting agencies to promote the role of foreign languages in school curriculum; f) assisting the schools in evaluating their educational practices; g)helping the schools who are seeking accreditation with the french ministry of education or with the international baccalaureate organization; h) training teachers who have been hired by member schools to better adapt to the french american educational and social environment; i) provide small grants for innovative pedagogical projects in member schools.
