“The treasurer and executive director review and present the 990 to the board of directors for review and approval prior to filing.”

“Each director is responsible for completing and submitting a conflict of interest policy upon becoming a director. The conflict of interest policies are reviewed annually for any changes. If a conflict arises, that person is excused from participating in conversation and board actions.”

“Salaries and wages are considered and approved by the board of directors once a year when preparing the annual budget.”

“Our mission is to educate, empower, and engage refugees by offering support services to promote independence and integration in the community. We provide advocacy, resource services, and education to refugees in the concord, nh and surrounding areas.”

“We provide direct services to the refugee population to promote cultural orientation and educational services to assist in their transition into new americans. Refugees receive detailed immigration and resettlement curriculums and engage in comprehensive programs to promote independence, create opportunities, and develop meaningful partnerships within the community. Our case managers and trained volunteers assist refugeews with access to social services by identifying resources, making referalls to partner agencies, helping fill out forms, providing intrepretation services, navigating the immigration process, and assisting with basic services such as scheduling appointments and providing transportation. We also provide social services such as youth and women groups and services to promote peace and reconciliation amoungst difference refugee groups through formal conflict resolution and peace education programs. Refugeess also receive educational, language, and employment services to provide them with the skills needed to obtain employment oppportunities.”
