THESE ORGANIZATIONS THAT REPRESENT HIGHER EDUCATION IN ALLOPATHIC AND OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE, DENTISTRY, NURSING, PHARMACY, AND PUBLIC HEALTH WOULD COME TO CREATE CORE COMPETENCIES FOR INTERPROFESSIONAL COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE THAT CAN GUIDE CURRICULA DEVELOPMENT AT ALL HEALTH PROFESSIONS SCHOOLS. IN FY 2014, IPEC HOSTED A TOTAL OF THREE FACULTY DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTES. THE OCTOBER 2013 INSTITUTE WAS HELD IN ROSEMONT, IL WITH 177 MEMBERS COMPRISING 41 TEAMS. IN JANUARY 2014, 26 TEAMS OF 94 PARTICIPANTS ATTENDED THE INSTITUTE IN HERNDON, VA. AT THE MAY 2014 INSTITUTE IN HERNDON, VA, WE HOSTED 105 ATTENDEES OF 24 TEAMS.
