Part VII-Section (B), Paragraph 12(a): Nu Deco has a Conflict of Interest (COI) policy each member of the board is issued a copy of this policy. Article III of the COI requires "an interested person must disclose the existence of the financial interest and be given the opportunity to disclose all material facts to the Directors and members of committees with governing board delegated powers considering the proposed transaction or arrangement". Sections 3.2 & 3.3 of Article III of the COI also describes the determination and procedures should a conflict of interest arise. Furthermore, Section 3.4 describes if and when a Board member(s) discover a possible conflict, the Member in question shall be informed and be given the opportunity to disclose the matter and the governing body can determine the outcpome including disciplinary action of the member in question.

IRS990/ProgSrvcAccomActy2Grp/Desc0Education Outreach Program - In 2020, Nu-Deco provided education performance programs for over 2,000 students in the South Miami-Dade area. This includes tutoring of music lessons, side-by-side coaching and peer-to-peer influence. Several students also had the opportunity to perform with the orchestra. The goal is to influence students in fifth grade and below and encourage them to continue their music and artisctic curiosity as they enter middle school. At this stage, students can select electives in music and arts classes offered within the Miami-Dade Schools System.
