| OEW Communications Team continues to increase our followers across all platforms of social media (Facebook: 100,000+, Instagram: 15,000+). Our Community Ambassador (OCA) program surpassed 1,000 members spanning across the nation. In order to maintain technological viability and real time cooperation, Operation Enduring Warrior conducted a transition from GoDaddy to Office 365 for Non-profits. This transition allows for an integrated single platform across multiple devices, creating a more user-friendly environment for communications and file sharing. The ease of access to pertinent documentation and assured communication streamlined overall operational effectiveness, decreasing response times to queries, and enhanced knowledge distribution across the organization. As part of the Year of Outreach campaign the OEW Development Team has been growing the Regional Coordinator Program. We have now 8 Regional Coordinators to help share and spread the mission of Operation Enduring Warrior. With the expansion of our coordinator to key areas, OEW will be able to not only reach potential new Community Ambassadors, but to also reach out to new potentially wounded service members in those key areas. Our coordinators have been active in local areas attending conferences and expositions that promote the health and well-being of our wounded service members. Currently working with two regional coordinators with individual group / chapter area social media sites to continue to expand our presence on the west coast.Fundraising within OEW is continuing to grow via our reach of our Community Ambassadors. By having more than a thousand OCAs within our Community social media site, we have a continuous flow of new ideas for fundraising to our numerous programs. OEW Team Members attended the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) conference in the month of Oct to help share our mission with potential new donors.OEW Operations Team has been restructured and has continued to evolve to better fit a business model for growth and sustainment. Travel coordination, Adaptive Athletes and Community Ambassadors have been shifted to the umbrella of Operations to better honor, motivate and empower veterans with a consistent vision. Crucial roles have been filled in all developing areas with a manager and support staff to help drive standardization of the operations within these roles as well as concentrated regional representatives to drive involvement.Races have continued to be a crucial element in actively engaging adaptive athletes and has been restructured as events. These events are also gaining traction with strategic partnerships to become self-sustaining revenue streams to support the program. Spartan, Rugged Maniac, and 60 to 60 retained strong and growing partnerships in 2017 with plans for continued partnership in future years. New relationships have been established with Green Beret Challenge and the United States Obstacle Course Racing Championships. To streamline concentration areas, an offshoot of the events program gains body and growth as the Adventure and Endurance program to allow support of veterans that do not fit the profile of what the events program offers. Skydive remains a consistent and strong program with fundraisers established to specifically fund individuals through the program. Continued vision is to create a compete team to keep veterans actively involved and help spread the mission. Scuba continues to see growth from new individuals finding interest to obtaining certifications and will remain as a staple program for veterans in need.OEW Logistics Team created a new partnership with a promotional product company to optimize design, production, and online sales of branded merchandise to maximize capital available for expanding our current outreach programs. Additionally, we partnered with a graphic design/marketing firm to create a custom exhibit for on-site outreach operations that attracts attention and projects the mission of our organization in a professional manner. This allows OEW to stand out from the crowd while building further relationships with both potential donors and Adaptive Athletes. | $159,528 | - |
