SOCIAL IMPACT FUND IS A FUNDING OPPORTUNITY OPEN TO LOCAL 501(C)(3) NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE IMPROVING LIVES AND COMMUNITIES THROUGH THEIR WORK IN ONE OF THREE FOCUS AREAS: CHILDREN'S HEALTH AND WELLNESS, CINCINNATI POVERTY/FINANCIAL INSECURITY, AND YOUTH TECHNOLOGY INITIATIVES. IN 2024, A GRANT OF 20,000 WAS AWARDED TO INTERALLIANCE OF GREATER CINCINNATI TO SUPPORT THEIR JUMPSTART COHORT IN 2025 TO SERVE A MINIMUM OF 65 AREA HIGH SCHOOL KIDS; A 1,000 TO EASTERSEALS REDWOOD FOR THE RENOVATION OF THEIR PROGRAM ROOM; AND A 1,000 TO 1N5 FOR THEIR IN-SCHOOL PROGRAMS$22,000$24,370

Social impact fund is a funding opportunity open to local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that are improving lives and communities through their work in one of three focus areas: children's health and wellness, cincinnati poverty/financial insecurity, and youth technology initiatives. In 2024, a grant of 20,000 was awarded to interalliance of greater cincinnati to support their jumpstart cohort in 2025 to serve a minimum of 65 area high school kids; a 1,000 to easterseals redwood for the renovation of their program room; and a 1,000 to 1n5 for their in-school programs

Tech2thrive provides access to high-quality it career opportunities for an untapped talent pool in low-employment areas within the region. By matching existing business needs to trained it talent, we are able to best serve our local businesses while simultaneously changing the socioeconomic trajectory of the underemployed in our community. The program provides free it training to the selected individuals. After completing the course and securing a position in it industry, graduates are expected to pay the cost of the training back over the period of time. The funds are then used for future training. In 2024, a few individuals expressed interest in the program and passed the first screening, but for various peronal reasons they were not able to start the program.

Southwest ohio give camp - is a weekend-long event that brings together a community of volunteers who donate their time and talents to provide web and software solutions for local non-profit organizations. A weekend-long in-person event was held in the fall of 2024. Close to 50 volunteer developers, database administrators and designers participated in the event. 5 non-profits benefited from this event.
