Form 990, Part III, Line 4A

We organized and executed a coast-to-coast march across the USA to promote action on climate change issues. Leaving from Los Angeles, CA on 3/1/2014 and ending 11/1/2014 in Washington, DC, the march traveled through 12 states and covered about 3,000 miles. Marchers ranging in numbers from 25 to 400 walked about 6 days each week, camping in tents at night. They were supported with vehicles that we provided and supplied.Along our route, the marchers shared information about the climate crisis and climate action with people they met, and those people gave the marchers stories about their experiences and opinions concerning the threat of worsening climate events, fossil fuel pollution, sustainable energy sources, and more. We held rallies in the larger cities along our route that attracted crowds in the thousands. Our website provides links to over 100 reports published by local media print, radio TV. Marchers gave more publicity by writing about their experiences on their personal blogs.

Fees for Services, other This expense of 74,728 was paid to seven individuals and one organization. These entities organized the overnight stays and rallies in the various states as the march progressed. They also did a minimal amount of fundraising at each site.

IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt0We organized and executed a coast-to-coast march across the USA to promote action on climate change issues. Leaving from Los Angeles, CA on 3/1/2014 and ending 11/1/2014 in Washington, DC, the march traveled through 12 states and covered about 3,000 miles. Marchers ranging in numbers from 25 to 400 walked about 6 days each week, camping in tents at night. They were supported with vehicles that we provided and supplied.Along our route, the marchers shared information about the climate crisis and climate action with people they met, and those people gave the marchers stories about their experiences and opinions concerning the threat of worsening climate events, fossil fuel pollution, sustainable energy sources, and more. We held rallies in the larger cities along our route that attracted crowds in the thousands. Our website provides links to over 100 reports published by local media print, radio TV. Marchers gave more publicity by writing about their experiences on their personal blogs.
