Located in the nobo art district and established in 2009, the mission of boulder metalsmithing association (boma) is to educate people about the creative and technical processes of metalsmithing and offer artists, hobbyists and jewelers a place to work. We achieve this mission by: o offering the community affordable demonstrations and exceptional hands-on workshops taught by world-class instructors; o making shared open studio time, tools and equipment available to individual artists; o providing exhibition opportunities for artists to show and sell their work; o offering an annual train-the-trainer metalsmithing program called "enhancing art through metalsmithing" for local art teachers.
