“Not today coalition (ntc) builds schools in india, for the children for the dalit peoples. These poor and marginalized people have very few opportunities for their children to receive an education. Without alternatives such as we provide, these children are exploited by the sex trade, bonded labor, slavery, and the reality of poor village life. The only long lasting solution to these problems is education. Education is the way out; a helping hand - not charity. Our main accomplishment in 2016 is continuing to raise funds for the various named projects for which we have established grant agreements. An example of this was our 1st freedom open golf tournament. This event allows us to show case our work, the benefits from building schools, and stories of success for the children of india; all while raising additional funds for school projects. We have previously signed a grant agreement with our indian partner to construct a new project named "ap puram". Unfortunately, our in-country partner has run into government delays in achieving the proper zoning and regulatory approvals. We are confident that these will be achieved, and the projects will be completed. Until that time, all funds are secured in bank accounts. Ntc is essentially a volunteer organization. We have no employees, no fixed monthly expenses.”
