Mission

The mission of Adinkra NOLA is to utilize un-schooling methods and community resources to develop life-long learners who value community, education and culture. Adinkra NOLA's activities included: -two free workshops for parents interested in the Louisiana home study option. This was done in partnership with NOLA Homeschoolers, HYPE Academy, New Orleans public library and the Urban League of Greater New Orleans, -a tutoring and support for 20+ home schooling families from August 2015 to May 2016. -a 6 week summer enrichment program for youth ages 5-8. -a free community craft day that reached more that 30 youth -mentored 3 independent home schooling families
