Capitol hill housing improvement program (chhip) performed property management duties. The following people listed on part vii of the return are employees of chhip: jill fleming ($166,939) and christopher persons ($186,576). The amounts paid to them are as employees of chhip and does not represent their compensation for time spent specifically on twelfth avenue arts association.

One member of the board is appointed by the executive director of capitol hill housing improvement program and one member is appointed by the director of finance and administrative services of the city of seattle.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11B

The vice president of finance of capitol hill housing improvement program, the management company, reviews the draft form 990. The draft of the 2018 form 990 is then circulated via email to all board members for approval before it is filed with the irs. Approval by each board member will be documented before the return is filed.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12C

The conflict of interest policy was adopted by the board of directors of the organization through a board resolution. All prospective directors shall disclose any potential conflicts of interest between said prospective director and the corporation. In addition, each current director will, on an annual basis, file a statement disclosing any potential conflicts. The disclosure shall be filed in the office of the corporation. Directors with any actual or apparent conflict will abstain from participating in discussions of, (unless specifically requested by a majority of the other directors at the meeting) or voting upon, any matter in which he/she has an actual or potential conflict of interest. The city designee shall not be deemed to have an actual or potential conflict of interest if a discussion or vote involves the city.
