Mission

In Touch With Communities Around The World, Inc. is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, and scientific purposes including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

Arts conservatory for teens-our mission is to empower, educate and enrich youth and teens through arts education. Our amp program continues to prepare teenagers for high school graduation and college, by offering academic support, arts education and training, theatrical productions, career development, healthy living, and leadership development activities with ongoing mentoring relationships that increase confidence and encourage success in all areas of their lives. Our after-school arts, education and technology programs are a holistic approach to helping at- risk and high-risk youths and teens reach their fullest potential through creative and informative professional arts training (i.e. Dance, visual arts, vocal coaching, theater, spoken-word, technology) and educational workshops (i.e. Health, leadership, college prep, and career guidance). Accomplishments: service impact on youth and teens: one hundred percent high school graduation rate, ninety percent college placement rate, over 3,000 youth served to date, over 16,0000 attendees for season productions and tour performances, over 35,000 in in-kind contributions, 30 significant partnership with local businesses, economic impact and job creation: over 500,000 and 21 jobs.

Goal 3 leadership potential: 95.84% of the respondents reported strongly agree that act helped them to improve their communication skills. Goal 4 acquisition of skills in the arts: 95.83% of the respondents reported strongly agree or agree that the arts help them to have a better outlook on life. In addition, our arts-based curriculum recognizes and complements the florida standards for students' academic advancement. Character essentials serves 500 students in five middle schools in pinellas county schools annually.

Character essentials (ce) is offered on school campuses before school and focuses on academic potential while improving behavioral challenges through our strategic yet creative engagement pedagogy. Teens empowered today (tet) program, our signature workforce development program provides tangible opportunities and access to successful mentors for the purpose of preparing todays youth to be tomorrows successful adults and breaking the disparity gap among at-risk, low-income youth and their more middle-class peers. The 6-level curriculum for tet is as follows: academic success, leadership development, healthy lifestyles, entrepreneurialism and workforce development, money management, and cultural enrichment. Tet students can enroll in any of the arts education classes act offers and has access to the arts-related field trips offered to students at no cost. Accomplishments: service impact on youth and teens: over 100 high-risk youth served, one hundred percent high school graduation rate, ninety percent college placement rate.

WE UTILIZE THE VEHICLE OF PERFORMING VISUAL ARTS AND MULTIMEDIA TO ENGAGE OUR STUDENTS WHILE CULTIVATING CHARACTER PRINCIPLES AND CREATIVE SKILLS. ACCOMPLISHMENTS: GOAL 1 PROBLEM-SOLVING AND EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE: 83.33% OF THE RESPONDENTS REPORTED STRONGLY AGREE OR AGREE THAT THEY ARE CONFIDENT IN THEIR WORK AT SCHOOL BECAUSE OF ACT. GOAL 2 ACADEMIC POTENTIAL: 96.55% OF THE RESPONDENTS REPORTED STRONGLY AGREE THAT ACT EXCITED THEN ABOUT LEARNING. GOAL 3 LEADERSHIP POTENTIAL: 95.84% OF THE RESPONDENTS REPORTED STRONGLY AGREE THAT ACT HELPED THEM TO IMPROVE THEIR COMMUNICATION SKILLS. GOAL 4 ACQUISITION OF SKILLS IN THE ARTS: 95.83% OF THE RESPONDENTS REPORTED STRONGLY AGREE OR AGREE THAT THE ARTS HELP THEM TO HAVE A BETTER OUTLOOK ON LIFE.
