In connection with any actual or possible conflict of interest, an interested person must disclose the existence of the financial interest. The disclosure is reviewed by the rtog administrator with guidance from rtog legal counsel. Any identified financial conflict of interest (fcoi) will be reviewed with the affected investigator and, if applicable, reported to nih within 60 days of discovery and actions to manage, reduce or eliminate the fcoi will be taken by the administrator of the research activity involved and included in the report to national institutes of health (nih). Management of an identified fcoi will include the development and implementation of a management plan and, if necessary, a retrospective review and mitigation report.”
