In prior years, claret center was a program within the oversight of the claretian missionaries - u.s.a. Province. Effective july 1, 2012, as part of the province's reconfiguration, claret center, inc. Was incorporated. It continues to fall under the affiliation of the roman catholic church and is included under the group exemption. The organization will file a 990 due to the fact that several programs are offered to the general public and not considered religious ministry.

The organization has two full time and one part time employee that are paid through a related common paymaster - claretian missionaries service corporation and reimbursed by the organization. Therefore, claret center does not have a w-3 in their name that reports these salaries.
