“Organization's Primary Exempt Purpose:”

“With a mission to inspire teens to a lifelong commitment of excellence, Parati's all-volunteer organization provides competitive youth("crew")rowing program, opportunities to compete in local, regional, and national USrowing Regattas, teen social events, and mentoring to teens in 8th-12th grades. Through affordable membership fees and scholarships, Parati also seeks: to expand the reach of youth rowing to diverse populations; overcome the barriers to entry into the sport of youth rowing; provide teens a springboard to catapult themselves into leading universities and future leadership positions in business, the military, government, and our communities.”

“Statement of Program Service Accomplishments:”

“Competitive Youth Rowing Program: In just three years, and rowing from primitive facilities in Northshore Park in The Woodlands, TX, Parati has produced 11 State of Texas rowing champions, qualified 19 teens for USRowing Youth National Championships, and helped teens gain entrance to top universities such as MIT, Duke, Rice, Northwestern, the US Air Force Academy, the US Naval Academy, and the University of Texas, Austin. In May 2016, Parati had 47 teen rowers (28 male / 19 female). Parati's motto, "Paratus Enim Vitae," means prepared for life, and to date 140 teens (92 male and 48 female) have benefited from the intensity and crucible of character development that is competitive crew rowing.”
