“Eo fort worth has one class of membership which is restricted to founders, co-founders, controlling shareholders, or owners actively in control of qualified businessses. A qualifying business must meet one of the two following criteria.1) gross revenues: the applicant's business must have an annual gross turnover of sales, or annual commission billing equal to or above such minimum levels as may be set from time to time by the board (currently $1,000,000) and have a minimum of three (3) full-time employees, or full-time contract employees. The qualifying business shall be a "for profit" organization. Gross revenue shall be determined using generally accepted accounting principles (gaap). For companies involved in broker/dealer activities, cost of goods or services brokered do not count as gross revenue; only commissions from the sale of such goods or services are considered gross revenue.2) private equity or venture backed company: the applicant's company shall have privately raised funds of at least us $2,000,000 or publicly raised funds of at least us $5,000,000 and a minimum of ten (10) full-time employees. Members with private equity or venture backed companies are exempt from meeting the gross revenues qualification defined immediately above for a period of three (3) years. However, by the end of the third year of membership, the venture backed company's gross turnover of sales or annual commission billing shall meet the gross revenues criterion.”
