FORM 990 - ORGANIZATION'S MISSION

Ingenuityne, inc. Was formed to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication and leadership.

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4D

First tech challenge (ftc) - like the frc program, teams in the ftc program designed and built robots with smaller kits and simpler game challenges. This program is readily accessible to a broader audience of educators and students, in part because of its lower cost. The ftc experience simulates the excitement as well as the pressure of a real-life engineering project, developing not only the students' technical know how, but also leadership, cooperation, ability to plan, patience and teamwork. Ftc enriches the participating students' ability to deal with the satisfactions and disappointments or a real engineering project. The ftc experience expands students interest in science, technology, engineering, math and inspires many to go on to higher education.
