To foster understanding and connections between journalists and technologists to support innovation in journalism on a local and global level, including giving support to projects that innovate in journalism.

The mission of hacks/hackers includes the following: (cont. On sch o)a. To foster, encourage and promote the educational, scientific, literary, and charitable purposes of hacks/hackersb. Promote philanthropy in support of hacks/hackersc. Provide fiduciary oversight as to the investment of assets managed for hacks/hackersd. Approve hacks/hackers' annual operating budgete. Create a network of journalists and technologists who rethink the future of news and information and spread knowledge, information and ideas to that networkf. Create a digital community of people who seek to inspire each other, share information, and collaborate to invent the future of media and journalismg. Engage in and carry on any other activity in any manner connected with or incidental to, or calculated to promote, assist, aid, or accomplish any of the aforesaid purposes.

CAMPAIGN METRICS SHOW VERY STRONG INTEREST IN THE CONTENT.
