Mission and Program Overview

Mission

Our Mission: Creekside Parent Organization is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting the well-rounded education of children at Creekside Elementary School in Boulder, Colorado. Our founding principles are: 1. To enhance the quality of education and the total school environment at Creekside. 2. To raise funds that shall be used for educational projects and other educational activities for Creekside's students. Roughly 60% of funds raised are used to hire academic tutors (similar to paras) to support teachers in the classroom. 3. To act as a coordinating body for all members of the Creekside community who would like to volunteer their time at Creekside. 4. To provide a structure for communication among students, parents, faculty, staff, administrators and members of the community.
