“The mission of project giving kids (pgk) is to cultivate empathy in youth by connecting them to age-appropriate service opportunities at a critical time in their development and to strengthen the overall capacity of the nonprofit sector by uniting existing nonprofits with new volunteers and donors. We do this through an easy-to-navigate online website (www.projectgivingkids.org), and soon a mobile app launching in spring 2017, that makes giving back easy and fun, while providing support, both in the short and long terms, to an under-resourced sector so important to the quality of life in our communities.”
