“The invictus initiative is an organization that coordinates volunteers and resources to help the most disadvantaged individuals around the world live fulfilling and empowered lives and improve their communities. We effectively match the skills, abilities and resources of our volunteers to appropriate projects and humanitarian causes around the globe.”

“In 2013 the invictus initiative coordinated volunteers and resources withhin three of the world's continents. Successfully building relationships and partnering with local communities to identify and implement sustainable community-driven initiatives, our organization was able to empower and transform lives. Joining forces with community change-makers in the favela shantytown of complexo do alemao, brazil, the invictus initiative directed local and international skills, abilites, and resources to assess long-term community needs while working alongside community members on the construction of a home for a local family. Teaming up with leadership in kenya's kibera slums and various remote western kenyan villages, the invictus initiative directed local and international skills, abilities, and resources to measure impacts of past projects, assess long-term community needs, and worked with community members to initiate solutions to previously identified community needs. Projects initiated in 2013 included the gps mapping of 11 village sub- locations, the distribution of solar powered study lamps to high school students, the development of an income generating program with an orphanage for mentally and physically disabled children, and conducting a finance and budgeting workshop for a large agricultural co-op group. Partnering with the sherpa people of the solo khumbu (mt. Everest region) and community members of a village outside of kathmandu, the invictus initiative directed local and international skills, abilities, and resources to measure impacts of past projects, assess long-term community needs, and worked with community members to initiate solutions to previously identified community needs. Projects initiated in 2013 included the renovation of sansari devi primary school and conducting an assessment of a viable water capture system that will provide clean drinking water for the community.”
