“We graduated individuals from our financial credit course which had undergone extensive development since its inception. We have grown internally and increased our in-house talent pool. We attended community events, resources fairs, along with other activities offered in the community to help publicize our services. Administratively, Joshuas Hand developed new policies and procedures for grant writing and board development. We recruited new board members and developed our first annual budget. Our Programs: We focus our programming in three strategic areas: LIFE Development, Socioeconomic Development and Community Development. Life Development- We have proactively helped young adults to seniors and their families to LIVE: Learn Significance,Invest in what will help them be their best, Value virtuous behavior Expecting to Conquer lifes challenges; giving themtools to manage their troubles and utilize their time, talent, treasure, team and temple, teaching them how to Conquer Life; before life conquers them. Socioeconomic Development- We have strategically aligned our organization to provide resources to our community members that will fuel their opportunities as we integrate partnerships and services for a stronger community. To name a just afew: This year we successfully negotiated an agreement to bring a Parkview Health's Federally Qualified Health Center and a 3 Rivers Federal Credit Union to Southeast Fort Wayne. Both are slated to be located in the Posterity Heights Development. Community Development- Weve been committed to uplifting neighborhoods, making them premier destinations for residents and businesses. We began this year in a partnership with BWI that brought our great city the completion of the 44 unit Scholar House Model. We gained much insight and experience and were encouraged to add our own construction and development services arm. Joshuas Hand Inc. entered into a joint venture partnership with Pure Construction. As a result of the joint venture, Joshua's Hand secured a contract with Ideal Homes to construct 25 homes in July of this year. We are on schedule to complete the project in February, 2020. This project resulted in the employment of over 100 Section 3 workers, 97% Minority Business Enterprise(MBE), skilled laborers and subcontractors.”

We have grown internally and increased our in-house talent pool. We attended community events, resources fairs, along with other activities offered in the community to help publicize our services. Administratively, Joshuas Hand developed new policies and procedures for grant writing and board development. We recruited new board members and developed our first annual budget. Our Programs: We focus our programming in three strategic areas: LIFE Development, Socioeconomic Development and Community Development. Life Development- We have proactively helped young adults to seniors and their families to LIVE: Learn Significance,Invest in what will help them be their best, Value virtuous behavior Expecting to Conquer lifes challenges; giving themtools to manage their troubles and utilize their time, talent, treasure, team and temple, teaching them how to Conquer Life; before life conquers them. Socioeconomic Development- We have strategically aligned our organization to provide resources to our community members that will fuel their opportunities as we integrate partnerships and services for a stronger community. To name a just afew: This year we successfully negotiated an agreement to bring a Parkview Health's Federally Qualified Health Center and a 3 Rivers Federal Credit Union to Southeast Fort Wayne. Both are slated to be located in the Posterity Heights Development. Community Development- Weve been committed to uplifting neighborhoods, making them premier destinations for residents and businesses. We began this year in a partnership with BWI that brought our great city the completion of the 44 unit Scholar House Model. We gained much insight and experience and were encouraged to add our own construction and development services arm. Joshuas Hand Inc. entered into a joint venture partnership with Pure Construction. As a result of the joint venture, Joshua's Hand secured a contract with Ideal Homes to construct 25 homes in July of this year. We are on schedule to complete the project in February, 2020. This project resulted in the employment of over 100 Section 3 workers, 97% Minority Business Enterprise(MBE), skilled laborers and subcontractors. |
